From sexy swimwear and colorful coverups, the stars of "Little Women: LA" are here to help you look smokin' hot and stylish all summer long.
Elena Gant, Terra Jole and Christy McGinity Gibel know the importance of finding clothing that works for their bodies. And it seems, they all have one must-have in common: A good tailor!
"There's always that time when I say, 'I want to wear this tonight, but I can't.' It's tough with pants, especially," Gibel tells toofab. "Sometimes with shirts, the shoulder length might be a little too low or the arm length might be too long. But, I've found a lot of tailors that will do it in an instant. A good tailor is the secret. Other than that, we have the same size butts! It's just the length that needs to be fixed."
"If I'm looking for something long-sleeved, I capitalize in the three-quarter world," Jole adds. "I used to love looking for capris as pants. But now, they look like capris that I'm wearing as pants, so a good tailor is the way to go."
Gant also depends on an expert to fix her tricky sleeves, but if she's in a pinch, she does it herself!
“When it comes to the length of pants or sleeves, I have a sewing machine at home. I do it myself," she explains. "I have to make sure the cost of the tailoring will not be more than the cost of the items. That's my challenge."
Judging by these swimsuit shots, these ladies don't seem to lack any confidence. So, what makes them feel sexy?
"I'm a new mother and I haven't lost all my baby fat, so a good sarong is my jam," Terra declares. "It makes me feel good right now. Until I'm 100% back to where I was, I feel like sarongs are the way to go."
"I think the right lingerie makes you feel more sexy," Elena chimes in. "It's important to find good lingerie for under your dresses. If there are areas you aren't comfortable with, the right lingerie can make you feel sexy again. It's the same in the bedroom. If you're trying to seduce your husband or boyfriend, the appropriate lingerie will do the job."
Christy admits that being sexy is all about being natural. "I could take all of this makeup off and my husband would say I'm beautiful."
Gotta love that!
"Little Women: LA" airs Wednesday nights on Lifetime at 9/8c, followed by "Terra's Little Family."
