Justine Ezarik, AKA iJustine, has added author to her lengthy resume, which also includes techie, gamer, vlogger and digital influencer.
The YouTube star has just released her first book, "I, Justine: An Analog Memoir," which includes stories about her first viral YouTube video (a documentation of her 300+ page iPhone bill), her rise as a leading content creator and her take on how social media networks have evolved since she started.
The memoir wouldn't have been complete for Justine without a nod to her idol, Apple creator Steve Jobs. On the cover, she's even sporting Steve's signature outfit -- a black turtleneck sweater and jeans -- while holding onto an old-school Apple computer.
So, what was the inspiration behind her special tribute to Jobs?
"It really started out as a joke," Justine told toofab's Brian Moreno at Comic-Con. "I brought all of this stuff to take a picture as Steve Jobs, and then when we got the pictures back, we were like, 'This is perfect.' As we were shooting it, I realized this kind of encompasses everything that I've been doing."
"I'm such a huge Steve Jobs fan," she added. "I love Apple, I love technology -- it kind of was merging all of those things together. Even the title, 'An Analog Memoir,' it all just worked out."
While Justine's millions of fans have watched her do pretty much everything over the years, she explained that her book is enabling her to show even more.
"It's allowing me to tell a story that you're not able to tell through video or blogs," the 31-year-old star said. "A lot of times on YouTube, you're seeing one single video of someone and you don't actually get to tell everything. A book allows people to tell the behind-the-scenes story of how people got here and what inspired them."
