There's nothing like family!
Earlier this year, Shayne Lamas announced she and husband Nik Richie were having a baby via surrogate -- and revealed that the woman carrying her child was none other than her own stepmom, Shawna Craig.
"Shawna's not just my stepmother. She's like a soul sister," the "Bachelor" alum told Closer in March.
Shawna gave birth to Shayne and Nik's baby boy, Lyon Lamas, in July -- and the entire family looks like they're doing great.
Shayne was unfortunately unable to carry her own child, after experiencing a near-fatal ectopic pregnancy in 2014.
Craig -- who is 28-years-old and the fifth wife of Shayne's 57-year-old father, Lorenzo Lamas -- recently chatted with Closer where she opened up about her stepdaughter's adorably baby boy.
"I was happy that we were able to help them accomplish that," Shawna tells the mag. "We all feel a little more complete now that Lyon is here and growing and doing well."
"I was shocked that my dad was on board with this, to be 100 percent honest," Shayne adds in the new issue. "But I'll always be grateful."
"I'm so happy for my daughter and son-in-law, because they wanted another child really badly," Lorenzo explains.
While the delivery went smoothly, Shawna had an emergency shortly after when she ruptured a blood vessel and was losing a lot of blood.
"I thought I was going to die," Shawna remembers. "I was so scared. I was freaking out. I thought, I gave this gift to my family and now I am going to bleed to death. One life in, one life out."
Luckily, Craig is doing just fine these days and even says she'd be more than willing to carry another child for Shayne. "I would do it again in a heartbeat!" she says.
