Ethan Embry had a very busy weekend.
The actor took part in not one, but two different reunions in Los Angeles, celebrating a pair of '90s films that we still can't get enough of!
First up: "Empire Records."
Buzzfeed hosted a 20th anniversary screening of the flick on Friday evening, with a Q&A with the cast following the film. While Liv Tyler, Renee Zellweger and Rex Manning himself, Maxwell Caulfield, were MIA, Embry was joined by Robin Tunney, Johnny Whitworth, Coyote Shivers, director Allan Moyle and screenwriter Carol Heikkinen.
We gotta hand it to them, this cast still looks amazing two decades later. AJ is dreamy as ever!
During the panel, Tunney revealed that it was her idea to have her character shave her head.
"Allan came to me and he's like, 'I think the studio wants to fire you 'cause they think you're kind of too cute to be depressed,” Robin told the crowd. "I was like, 'Well, I could shave my head.'"
And so she did. Fun fact: This led her to wear a wig in "The Craft," her next film.
Embry also revealed he was arrested during filming, after he and a costar bought cap guns and started shooting them off in a public parking lot. "I got charged with five counts of assault!”
Saturday evening, Ethan then reunited with a few stars from his other classic '90s film: "Can't Hardly Wait."
Released in 1998, the movie was packed with rising talent, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Peter Facinelli, Lauren Ambrose, Seth Green, Selma Blair, Jenna Elfman, Jerry O'Connell and many, many more.
Cinespia showed the film at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, with Embry, Facinelli, Sean Patrick Thomas and Joel Michaely all in attendance.
Anyone else shocked to see this bromance? Cool kid Mike Dexter and the artsy Preston Meyers actually kissed and made up at the event!
And while Hewitt wasn't there, she posted a photo of her character being projected during the screening. "So proud to have been a part of this movie," she tweeted, "Can't Hardly Wait reunion movie anyone? Let's get them to make it!"
"Oh Mandy. You came and you gave without taking," Embry added, re-tweeting her post.
With the 20th anniversary of this film just a couple years off, what better time for a high school reunion flick, right?!
