Matt Damon's ready to kick Mars' butt!
The second trailer for "The Martian" just dropped, and we're getting a better look at what Mark Watney (Damon) must do to survive on the hostile planet while he waits nearly four years for his crew to rescue him.

"I guarantee you, that at some point, everything is going to go south on you," the Oscar-nominated actor says in the intense opening scene. "And you're going to say, 'This is it, this is how I end.' Now you can either accept that or you can get to work!"
The sci-fi flick -- directed by Ridley Scott -- follows the story of a manned expedition to Mars. When astronaut Watney is presumed dead after an angry storm hits the red plant, the crew abandons the mission ... only to later find out their colleague is still alive and well, with very little resources to survive.
Kate Mara, Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kristen Wiig and Sean Bean are a few of the A-list names who likewise star alongside Damon in the adventure flick -- talk about one impressive cast!
We can't wait to see Damon take on space when "The Martian" hits theaters October 2.
