Kris Jenner Refuses to Call Caitlyn By Her New Name -- What's She Call Her Instead?

In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Kris Jenner gets candid about the state of her relationship with Cait and why she is still having a hard time with certain aspects of her transition.

When Billy Bush asked the momager if she called her ex by her new name, the 59-year-old said "No" adding that it's still a difficult subject for her.

"I say 'Jenner,'" she admitted. "It's hard, you know, it's really, really hard. What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way," she added. "No matter what it is, you know. We're all people. We all have different emotions."

While we already got a look at their somewhat awkward relationship on the season finale of "I Am Cait," the 59-year-old says their relationship is slowly progressing and she's "getting to know her."

"I just thought she would be a little bit different," Kris said. "Bruce had a distinct personality and, you know, had definite characteristics. And Caitlyn has some different ones, I feel."

The pair were married for 22 years before announcing their separation back in 2013. Now that their relationship has drastically changed, will we ever see the pair establish a close friendship, or maybe "curl up on the couch" Bush asked.

"I don't know about curl up on the couch, but she came over for a drink last night," Kris said honestly. "And that was nice."

Aside from talking about her ex, the mom-of-six opened up about daughter Kourtney Kardashian's split from Scott Disick. Does the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch have hope for the former pair ever reconciling?

"Scott is like my son," Kris admitted. "He came over yesterday. He was on his way over to see the kids. He's a great dad. They've got things to figure out," she said, adding that she's "always hopeful" for the couple.

"My wish is that, you know, they work it out and figure it out and we'll see what happens."
