This looks intense!
The first full-trailer for "The Revenant" finally dropped on Tuesday, and we're getting to see Leonardo DiCaprio battle everything from the harsh winter elements to the local wildlife in the gritty flick.
Set in the 1820s and based on true events, the survival movie tells the the story of Hugh Glass (DiCaprio), a frontiersman who must lead his team through the unexplored Western wilds.
Things take a turn for the worse after Hugh gets mauled by a giant bear. While Glass survives the attack, he's not only left for dead by his team but even abandoned by his good friend John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). The near-death incident and betrayal sets Hugh on the ultimate quest for revenge.
The adventure flick is Gonzalez Inarritu's directorial follow-up to "Birdman," which took home the Oscar for Best Picture at the 87th Academy Awards last year.
Perhaps we'll finally see Leo snag one himself at next year's award show!
