Lupita Nyong'o knows how to make an entrance!
The Oscar-winning actress stole the spotlight at the opening night of her new show, "Eclipsed," on Wednesday in New York City.
The "12 Years A Slave" star sparkled outside the event before hitting the stage, wearing a chic sequin red dress. The actress finished her look strappy red pumps, a romantic updo and a bold red lip.
Lupita wasn't the only star at the show -- "The Walking Dead's" Danai Gurira stunned on the red carpet, too.
Gurira looked a far cry from her character on the AMC series, wearing a chic metallic mini dress and black heels. Michonne sure cleans up well!
Danai actually wrote the show, about women during the absolutely brutal second Liberian civil war.
"Orange is the New Black" fan-favorite Danielle Brooks (aka Taystee) kept it cool and casual at the event.
Brooks looked great wearing a printed head scarf, black leather jacket, black mini dress, and matching combat boots -- we love seeing her out of her prison scrubs!
