Hayden Panettiere is back in the spotlight!
The "Nashville" star made her first public appearance since seeking treatment for post-partum depression, stepping out to support fiance Wladimir Klitschko at the IBF IBO WBO World Heavyweight World Championship Fight in Duesseldorf, Germany on Saturday.
The actress looked happy and healthy as she sat ringside at the event, sporting a cream and black striped sweater, black and white plaid mini skirt, black stockings and black lace-up platform boots. She finished her look with a black and tan fedora.
Unfortunately, Klitscho lost the fight, marking his first defeat in 11 years.
The 26-year-old star welcomed her first child, daughter Kaya, nearly a year ago. She checked into a treatment facility after battling postpartum depression back in October.
"It's something a lot of women experience. When [you are told] about postpartum depression, you think it's 'I feel negative feelings towards my child; I want to injure or hurt my child.' I've never, ever had those feelings. Some women do," she said on "Live With Kelly and Michael" in September. "But you don't realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It's something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they're not alone, and that it does heal."
"There's a lot of misunderstanding. There's a lot of people out there that think that it's not real, that it's not true, that it's something that's made up in their minds, that 'Oh, it's hormones.' They brush it off," she added. "It's something that's completely uncontrollable. It's really painful and it's really scary and women need a lot of support."
We're happy that Hayden got the help she needed!
