Hope you weren't planning on sleeping tonight.
Warner Bros. just released the first trailer for "The Conjuring 2," the follow-up to James Wan's surprisingly successful 2013 horror flick, and man, does it look like one fantastic creepfest.
Wan once again steps behind the camera, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson returning as ghost hunters Lorraine and Ed Warren. This time around, the couple heads to London to "help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits." The film is based on the Warren's real-life encounter with the Enfield Poltergeist.
The trailer shows Lorraine speaking with one of the afflicted children, asking the young girl about the voices she hears in her home.
"Does it feel like it's coming inside of you?" she asks. "More like its coming from behind me, like I'm being used. It says it wants to hurt you," the girl menacingly replies.
After some quick flashes of the disturbing action from the film, we then see the same child waking up on her bedroom ceiling, before waking up a second time on her floor, her room covered in crosses. Slowly, they all start to flip upside-down before a sinister figure jumps out of the darkness. Eek!
The flick opens June 10, 2016 -- are you excited?
