Matt Lauer isn't afraid to rock some killer heels! (Yes, you read that right).
The "Today" anchor continued his prank war with Ellen DeGeneres on Monday, when he stopped by her studio rocking a pair of tan Valentino "Rockstud" pumps.
Before you start questioning the journalist's style choice, here's the back story.
In her latest gag, Ellen previously teased Matt about his preference for brown shoes. "They're like comfort food for the feet," Matt explained to Tamron Hall — before Ellen showed some heavily edited footage showing Matt wearing a pair of brown platforms.
To get in on the joke, Matt sported his favorite heels on her show -- and Ellen's reaction was priceless!
A surprised Ellen was amazed by how easily Matt could walk in such high heels. "This is not my first rodeo in pumps," Matt said, poking fun at his history of dressing in drag.
Lauer went on to recap all of the pranks the two have played on each other, including making Matt look handsy with Adele and turning him into an S&M lover during a "Fifty Shades Of Grey" interview. For his part, Lauer filled Ellen's car with ping pong balls and put her butt crack on a billboard.
After the two declared peace yet again, they decided to find a new victim to torture!
