The "We Belong Together" songstress just got engaged to billionaire boyfriend James Packer last month and has the giant rock to prove it. With a news, an upcoming Las Vegas residency and her adorable 4-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, the 45-year-old has a lot going on.

In a recent interview, the soinger opened up about the exciting time in her life and revealed that she hasn't shared all the details of her engagement with her two kids just yet.

"I haven't talked to them about it completely because they are so young so they don't really understand things yet, so you have to go slowly and explain things and always make sure they know that this is only going to be good for them," she told E! News. "Their lives are not going to change."

The pop star shares her mini-mes with ex-husband Nick Cannon -- and while the two split back in August 2014, they continue to put up a united front for the sake of their kids, with Cannon even congratulating his former wife on her engagement.

"For me, as long as we are together and they have a great relationship with their dad, then that's great. It's good. And they are great," she added of the relationship.

"Between Nick and what he does for them and then what I do for them, I just think, 'Please don't let these kids be spoiled," she joked. "I have to reel it in."
