Chris Martin is a glass half full kind of guy.
The Coldplay frontman covers the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, where he opens up about his music and his relationship with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
Martin -- who slayed his performance with Beyonce and Bruno Mars on Sunday during the Super Bowl Halftime Show -- says the opportunity is one he'll never forget.
"To me, that's the climax of everything," he says of headlining the show.
Chris also opens up about his relationship with Queen B, revealing that he's even taken some constructive criticism from the pop star in the past.
During the interview, Martin recalls playing a song called "Hook Up" for Bey ... which she ended up turning down and, "in the sweetest possible way: She told me, 'I really like you – but this is awful,'" he reveals.
Chris also gets candid about his personal life, calling his divorce from Paltrow nothing short of "wonderful."
"I have a very wonderful separation-divorce," he confesses. "It's a divorce – but it's a weird one."
"I don't think about that word [divorce] very often," he explains. "I don't see it that way. I see it as more like you meet someone, you have some time together and things just move through."
