Elton John and James Corden are giving us major #FriendshipGoals!
The "Tiny Dancer" singer stopped by "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Sunday, where he and the comedian teamed up for a very special edition of "Carpool Karaoke."
Check out the clip above to see the duo belt classics like "Your Song," "The Circle of Life" and "Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me."
Between covering some of John's biggest hits, the pair also discussed Elton's incredible career, where the singer revealed why he rocks such flamboyant stage outfits.
"I was never a lead vocalist. Not like Bowie or Jagger. I was playing the piano … I wasn't a sex symbol, and so I had fun with my outfits. And I just went with it," the 68-year-old confessed.
John also said that new talent like Ed Sheeran and Grimes not only inspire him but push him to make more music.
"I'm only looking forward. I don't look back," John explained. "Whenever you hear something new that inspires you from the young, it makes you feel 'I'm gonna do that, I want to do that.' So, I still have the energy of a 20-year-old, and I want to carry on… Once you stop, you die."
