Tamera Housley has some choice words for her haters!
The actress gets extremely candid while talking about being bullied as a teenage girl in new sneak peek of Monday's "The Real."

Though the 37-year-old has since developed thick skin, Housley says when she was a teenager negative comments about her looks really shaped the way she thought about herself.
"I can remember, I was on a show called 'Sister, Sister,' with my sister -- dammit I'm crying -- so anyways, to make a long story short ... my sister and I used to read every fan mail because we just love our fans that much and we'd sign our autographs, so I can remember reading this stupid letter when this person called me ugly, and said that I was the ugly and goofy twin," she says in the clip with tears in her eyes.
"And for years I made an agreement with that stupid, stupid statement and I carried it around with me for years," she continues. I thought I was ugly and I thought I was goofy until my amazing best friend said, 'You know what Tamera, you are not 16-years-old anymore. You do not have to listen to that insecurity in your head anymore. You do not let other people define who you are!'"
The actress' friend's words definitely changed her outlook and Tamera keeps that advice in the back of her mind when she reads negative comments about her looks today.
"Now, to this day, when I read negative comments or anything like that, I say 'I don't have to make an agreement with that,'" she explains. "I'm not going to give you power over who I am!"
