This might be the best sounding episode of Carpool Karaoke yet.
On last night's episode of "The Late Late Show," James Corden got into the Tony Awards spirit ahead of his hosting gig next Sunday -- by picking up some major Broadway stars for his most popular segment.
The latest installment kicked off with the late night host picking up "Hamilton" superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda, before launching into the first song in his Broadway show.
As they two roared through "Alexander Hamilton" and into "Guns and Ships," we gotta give Corden major props for keeping up with America's favorite fighting Frenchman as he tackled Lafayette's lyrics.
From there, they picked up a few other Broadway stars off the streets. Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski all piled into the backseat -- and that's when things really got musical.
The group erupted into a wave of "Awwws" as the first notes of "Seasons of Love" from "Rent" started playing.
"That really was quite beautiful," James remarked, after they all finished singing the classic song.
Audra then gave James some advice for hosting this year's Tonys, telling him to "have fun" and "belt out a few show tunes."
"I really feel like we can't have this many Broadway legends in a car and not do one song," Corden exclaimed before their final tune together. "Are you gonna come with me on this? It's just one song more."
See them belt out "One Day More" from "Les Miserables" above -- and give Audra a standing O for the final note!
The Tony Awards air Sunday on CBS.
