"Vanderpump Rules" Star Katie Maloney Dishes On Her Upcoming Wedding

"Vanderpump Rules" stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are set to tie the knot any day now after getting engaged last year. We sat down with the SURver to get the scoop on her upcoming nuptials and what we can expect from her big day -- starting with the venue.

"It's important to us that we can bring in our own vendors and sort of tailor it to our personalities and what we really want," she told TooFab's Candice Brock. "I think that's kind of going to be the deciding factor."

The "Vanderpump Rules" star previously threw her engagement party at Lisa Vanderpump's mansion, but for her wedding day, Katie and her fiance are going with a different vibe.

"We definitely want something outdoors, we don't want an urban wedding," she explained. "We want it to be, not so much of a destination, not like going to some island to get married, but we want to make a weekend out of it. Somewhere we can all travel to and have it just be one weekend long party!"

"Somewhere with woods and in the forest, and have it be mythical, and elegant, and amazing," she added.

While most couples may not see eye to eye during the planning process, Katie revealed that it's been smooth sailing when it comes to finalizing the wedding details.

"There's a lot of stuff we agree on already. He's kind of letting me take control," she said of Tom. "He has a couple main things he definitely doesn't want. We don't want like a whole 'sit down plated dinner situation'. That's something that we're sort of tailoring to us that might not be super traditional."

The adorable pair has been busy documenting their journey to the alter on social media, with the reality stars sharing moments from their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties in New Orleans and from Katie's bridal shower.

The bride-to-be stayed mum on the exact details about her dress and wedding party, but there's no doubt that the entire "Pump Rules" cast will be present for her big day.
