Dylan O'Brien just got back to work.
CBS Films and Lionsgate just released the first look of the actor as Mitch Rapp in "American Assassin," in a photo we're told was taken earlier today.
While the "Teen Wolf" star was spotted by fans last month sporting a bushy beard that covered half his face, he's clean shaven here, looking buff as ever as he wields a pistol.
This is the first time we've seen Dylan on a set since his accident while filming "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure" back in March. At the time, he suffered a concussion, facial fracture and lacerations. Dylan will film "American Assassin" before production of "The Death Cure" kicks up again in February.
Looking at this photo, that face appears to be in pretty good shape, right?
"American Assassin" is based on the New York Time bestselling book series of the same name and will be directed by Michael Cuesta. Check out the official synopsis below:
AMERICAN ASSASSIN follows the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien) a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets. Together the three discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop a mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) intent on starting a World War in the Middle East.
The film is currently filming in Europe.
