President Barack Obama was the subject of some sick burns during "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night ... where he got in one of his own about Donald Trump.
The outgoing prez returned to Jimmy's show for a sit-down with the late night host and to shoot a new edition of "Mean Tweets."
POTUS fielded a ton of nasty remarks during the segment, including tweets like, "Barack Obama is the Nickelback of Presidents" and "Just found out my daughter shares a birthday with Obama PUKE."
One of the messages came from The Donald himself, as he had previously tweeted out, "President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States."
Obama's witty response: "Well... at least I will go down as a President," followed by a phone drop.
During his interview with Kimmel, the President also talked a little more about Donald, after being asked if he wished he were running against him.
"We joke about Donald Trump, but part of the reason you've seen Michelle [Obama] passionate in this election, part of the reason that we get involved as much as we have, is not just because we think Hillary's going to be a great president, but it's also because, there's something qualitatively different about the way Trump has operated in the political sphere," he said.
He was also asked if he'd run for a third term if it were legal.
"Personally for me, if I were able to run for a third term, Michelle would divorce me," he replied. "So it's useful that I don't have that choice to make. All the women in my life are looking forward to being able to live a more normal life."
