Need help naming your kid? Just ask Ellen.
Adam Levine appears on Thursday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where he opens up about how his baby girl's name, Dusty Rose, came to be.
Check out the clip above to see what role Degeneres played in the naming of his daughter!
"The name game is a tough game," Adam says in the sneak peek. "Imagine you're like writing the best song you've ever written in your life and you have to name it. It's really screwed up to actually have to put yourself through that."
"I think I have a great name and I text Ellen and she's like, 'I hate it. I think it's a terrible name,'" he says. "She goes 'OK look,' and she gave me five names to think about ... this, this, this [and] Dusty was in there."
"You basically named my kid," Levine says to a very proud DeGeneres.
While Adam seems pretty pleased with the unique moniker ... he didn't know that the name Dusty Rose was in fact a color too.
"I had already thought of Dusty and then someone said Dusty Rose and I was like 'Oh, that's her name.' So I texted you Dusty Rose," Ellen explains.
Later on the show, Ellen and Adam team up to scare some unsuspecting ladies using a public restroom. Check out the clip above to see their epic prank!
