Chris Martin paid homage to George Michael with two things that were near and dear to the late singer's heart: charity and music.
In honor of Michael, who died on Sunday, the Coldplay frontman played a sweet cover of Wham!'s hit single "Last Christmas" while visiting London's Crisis at Christmas event at a local homeless shelter.
In the clip posted to Sky News' Twitter, Martin sings the beloved holiday track with a guest while strumming on a guitar.

Another attendee shared a photo from Martin's surprise visit.
"That moment when Coldplay's Chris Martin drops into the Crisis at Christmas shelter, with no fuss, no fanfare and no press, to help make tea and coffee and also play guitar so the guests can have a sing song," the person posted on Instagram. "Thank you for coming down and getting stuck in. #christmas #singing."
Now this is what the holidays are all about.
