Samantha Bee said CNN redeemed itself in her eyes after they allowed Jake Tapper to completely take down Kellyanne Conway.
Bee previously claimed that the network had become virtually unwatchable as a result of its disservice to the public interest.
"First, after briefly banning Kellyanne Conway for being a flaxen-haired fountain of lies, CNN let her back through the gates, straight into Jake Tapper's cage, and they haven't fed him this week," Bee said on Wednesday night's "Full Frontal."

"Damn, Jake. Wow. I didn't think CNN let you use the f-word on the air," referencing his rampant use of the word "falsehoods" during the interview.
Expressing her shock at the bold move, Bee said; "We were watching CNN, and not just in an airport with the sound off. We saw you serve the public interest for almost half a day. I know! We couldn't believe it, either."
Tapper and Conway engaged in a heated exchange Tuesday resulting in the president's adviser being backed into a corner after the Trump administration was accused of blatant lies.

"How about the president's statements that are false?" Tapper said. "Like the murder rate is the highest it's been in almost half a century? False."
Referencing Trump's media attacks, Tapper said: "How about the fact that the media doesn't report on terrorist attacks? False. I'm talking about the President of the United States saying things that are not true, demonstrably not true. That is important."
