Doctors forced JoJo to get out and leave San Luis Obispo this week after the 26 year old suffered a virus while on tour.
The singer-songwriter was scheduled to perform at Fremont Theatre on Monday as part of her Mad Love Tour but was taken to urgent care instead. Her efforts to perform despite her illness were too little too late, but she did promise fans she'd reschedule.

JoJo also promised fans in an Instagram post that she wouldn't cancel the tour – she's just not that kinda girl.
“ME AT URGENT CARE,” she captioned the photo of her curled up on an urgent care bed. “Tonight's #MadLoveTour SAN LUIS OBISPO IS CANCELLED. I've been fighting a virus since the beginning of tour, but this morning it grabbed me by the face. Those who know me know I never let pain or discomfort get in the way of a show, and I am truly heartbroken to have to cancel, but the doctor said I have to rest today so I can make it through the rest of tour. I want to give you my all so stay tuned for further details on a rescheduled show. If you want a refund it'll be available at point of purchase. I'm going to rest now and come back strong to continue the tour. I love you and thank you soooooooo much for your support and understanding.”

It's unclear how JoJo contracted the virus to begin with, but she mustered up the strength to give Keke Palmer a lap dance Tuesday night at her Los Angeles show.
