MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell made his feelings about President Donald Trump loud and clear Thursday night while slamming him for how he's handling the GOP's healthcare bill, which the Senate is voting on today.
"This is the laziest, most ignorant president in history,” he said in the panel discussion (above).
O'Donnell was speaking in reference to Trump seemingly giving up on the American Health Care act after reports claimed that he is no longer in negotiations to repeal Obamacare. Trump is aware that he won't likely get the votes that he needs for his health care bill, and O'Donnell explained what this says about his nature as President.

"The president is saying to you on the front page of the New York Times tomorrow, 'I quit, and I quit in the Senate. I do not have the patience or the ability to stay focused on this and get it through the Senate, which is much harder than getting it through the House.'”
O'Donnell's guest, Steven Brill, pointed out that he thought Obamacare was dead "at least ten different times" before the bill passed.
O'Donnell replied, "President Obama never once said something like this in the crusade to get that thing passed because he knew how to stay with it and get it passed."
