"The Real Housewives of New York" Season 9 is just two episodes in, but that doesn't mean the ladies haven't picked right back up where the "Bezerkshires" left off.
Last week, the ladies reunited for dinner in The Hamptons, which went south rather quickly when Ramona Singer decided to bring up Bethenny Frankel's "soft porn" past. Needless to say, the conversation went over like a lead balloon, and Bethenny left the dinner abruptly .
It seemed as though Luann D'Agostino was taking Ramona's side during the whole debacle, but she told TooFab on Wednesday she was "actually defending" Bethenny.
"I was saying, 'You know what, Ramona? I think it's embarrassing that you bring this up in front of everybody at the table,'" Luann told TooFab. "And Bethenny thought I was speaking about her under my breath, but I was actually trying to explain to Ramona why Bethenny was pissed off. Then Bethenny got mad at me for not speaking to her but discussing it with Ramona."
"I just feel like it could've been handled better," she added. "Instead of storming out, she should've stayed and dealt with it."
On Wednesday's April 26 episode, all of the housewives of New York except for Bettheny attend Ramona's dinner party, and Dorinda Medley goes after Sonja Morgan for allegedly spreading rumors about Dorinda via Facebook. It's an evening Luann described as a "blowout."
(Read more story below.)
Here's what else Luann told TooFab during Part 1 of our interview:
What are your thoughts on Ramona bringing up Bethenny's "soft porn" at dinner?
Ramona brought it up in front of the whole table of women, which was, I thought, not the way to do it. If you wanna bring it up and you're really concerned, then you don't bring it up in front of everyone. And I thought Bethenny handled it pretty well, considering.
What's your relationship like with Bethenny right now?
It's been up and down. At the moment, we're good with each other. She's happy for me. At this point, now I'm married. She sees that I'm happy, and finally we've gotten to another place.

View StoryYou were angry with Sonja in the first episode. Will we see more animosity carry through the rest of the season or can we expect quick resolution?
Yeah, I mean, there's no big crazy story with Sonja and I. It's just I feel like she's still kinda living in the past and has a hard time moving on. And that's my only beef with her. But now that I'm married and I'm happy, good friends should be supportive. So that's my beef with her, basically.
And she does come around. I'm not a big dweller in the past. I'm somebody who really looks forward and not into the past. That's my strategy.
We see this week that Dorinda's planning to confront Sonja at Ramona's party about the rumors Sonja's been spreading about her. What can you tell us about that dinner?
Dorinda goes after Sonja, and she is drinking Coca-Cola before she leaves my house, so I know she means business. It's a blowout. I think Dorinda needed to get it off her chest, and she did, let's put it that way.
Will we see some resolution by the end of the episode?
Yes, you'll see how Sonja handles it.
What was going through your head when Andy Cohen read Ramona's slew of tweets regarding you still using your "Countess" title while you were on "Watch What Happens Live" last week? Where do you to stand with each other?
I haven't seen Ramona in a bit, but I was surprised that she would make an issue with that. Every time I think Ramona has turned over a new leaf or that I can trust her, she does something like that. It's disappointing. Like really? You had to make an effort to call? I just find it disappointing.

View StoryDid you ever confront her about it?
No, I don't feel the need to.
Any plans for a new countess dance single?
Everybody keeps asking me that. It's so funny. Andy loved 'Girl Code' so much. He's actually the one who said to me, 'You gotta do another dance song. Don't be so embarrassed.' So he really inspired me to do 'Girl Code.' I love music, and I was just talking to my producer Jerry 'Wonda' [Duplessis] the other day, so we might cook something up.
What can we expect this season? Do alliances switch? Are there any new feuds?
Alliances always change. You're gonna see back and forth within the season. You're gonna see us back in The Berkshires, which is always crazy. We actually do a couple of trips this season, so that's a lot of fun. You're gonna see us ski for the first time. And I'm getting married! So there's a lot going on this season.
It's a lot lighter this season, too. I thought last season was a little on the dark side, especially for me. It's a fun, funny, dramatic season. Travel, laughs, lots of good stuff.
In terms of last season being so "dark" for you, especially toward the end, was Tom a source of comfort during that time? What crossed your mind?
I knew what I had. I wasn't going to let that ruin my future. Like I said, I don't live in the past. I live for the future, and I knew that Tom really loved me. So he was supportive and he was there, of course, and we had to live through it. And that's really what made us stronger, so it worked out for the best. I feel like if you can get through that, you can get through anything.
