"Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland" premiered on Lifetime Monday night, and as you may have been expecting, it wasn't particularly good.
In fact, based on the reaction from those tweeting about it, the movie was downright laughable.
"Searching for Neverland," which is told from the perspective of his bodyguards and takes place at the end of his life as he was on the hunt for a new home for his children, was bashed for a number of reasons. Some viewers were turned off by the acting, and especially an uncharacteristic British accent that seeped through star Navi's portrayal of Michael Jackson.
Viewers took to the Twitter to mock it for a variety of reasons.
Here is a sampling of reactions from those who thought the movie was just the worst.
Watching this #MichaelJacksonMovie and I have 2 questions:
@tariqnasheed
1. Why does this mofo look like Lisa Ling?
2. Why does he have a British accent?
