Not everyone has the ability to send Ivanka Trump a personal message, but when Sarah Silverman realized she could, she did.
The comedian tells Chelsea Handler in a preview (above) of the latest "Chelsea" episode, hitting Netflix on Friday, that she sent President Trump's daughter a DM on Twitter, warning Ivanka that her own reputation is at stake, even though it's her dad making the decisions that affect issues like women's health.
"I'm so dead inside when it comes to all of this," Silverman says in the clip. "I feel so disheartened. I actually saw that she follows me on Twitter and I direct-messaged her and I was like, 'This is your chance. You're writing your life story here.'"
Handler will be joined by Silverman and Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards in the episode, in which they discuss how Ivanka has been of no help at all to women's health, even after Richards said she "talked to [Ivanka] and told her what we do. I explained in detail.”

"The White House has been a total zero on women and women's health. I think Ivanka's job now is that she's in charge of all women's issues. This would be time to kind of step up."
Handler later added that she has been reassured by her friends that though many may be hoping Ivanka will stand up for women's health, she's nothing more than another member of Trump's staff.
"My friends are like, 'She has no control; she's just another puppet…circling around [Donald Trump],'" Handler said. "The fact [Ivanka] doesn't call him out ... I know all women feel this way toward Ivanka right now, but I'm like, 'You need to tell that f-cking asshole this is an unacceptable way to treat women; we're moving backwards!'”
