Finally, the real world is one step closer to becoming "Jurassic World."
A quarter century after the original "Jurassic Park" made us wish science could keep up with Hollywood and bring dinosaurs back to life, Entertainment Inc. and Universal Brand Development announced Thursday they have joined forces to kick off "Jurassic World Live," a live-action arena show starting to tour the country in the fall of 2019.

View Story"Jurassic World Live" will feature a herd of life-size dinosaurs reaching up to 40-feet in height, thanks to state-of-the-art animatronics and performer-operated characters. Unfortunately, though, no signs of real -- or robo -- Chris Pratt. Sigh.
Unlike most live-action shows, "Jurassic World Live" will be break down traditional arena barriers between the audience and the action, instead using sophisticated projection mapping to zip fans right on over to the dinosaur oasis of Isla Nublar.
According to Kenneth Feld, Chairman and CEO of Feld Entertainment, "The live 'Jurassic World' arena experience will create new ways for fans to engage with one of the world's most popular franchises."

The live-action show even has an official website, which guarantees "arena-sized action, special effects and physical stunts that will leave you on the edge of your seat," plus appearances from a Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Velociraptor Blue, who we first met in "Jurassic World."
Until then, fans will have to admire the prehistoric critters through history books, museums or the big screen, as "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" hits theaters June 22.
