When Justin Timberlake first announced his new album, "Man of the Woods," the promotional materials made it seem like it'd be his version of "Joanne." The first two songs, "Filthy" and "Supplies," threw off everybody, as they both felt like they'd be right at home with anything off of "FutureSex/LoveSounds" and "The 20/20 Experience."
But today, he leaned into his Memphis roots with his third song, "Say Something," with country superstar Chris Stapleton.
No, it's not full-on twang, but instead a perfect mix of their two sounds, featuring killer vocals, guitars and a funky beat.
Timberlake's upcoming album -- which he described as his most "personal" yet -- will be released on February 2, just two days before his highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.
