This week's #NewMusicFriday is packed with love songs, breakup jams and everything in between.
In honor of Valentine's Day, Ellie Goulding released a cover of Don McLean's 1972 hit, "Vincent." Paris Hilton also honored the day of love with the debut of her "new" track, "I Need You," along with a music video directed by fiancé Chris Zylka, which shows her recreating the rose scene from "American Beauty" and channeling Marilyn Monroe.
Frank Ocean's 'Moon River' Cover Has Twitter in Tears
View StoryFrank Ocean also left his fans swooning and/or emotionally wrecked after surprising them with a cover of "Moon River." The musician hasn't had an official album since the critically-acclaimed "Blonde" in 2016, so many of his fans are hopeful that the cover of the song dating back to 1961 is indicative of new music coming from Ocean sooner rather than later.
Elsewhere, Nipsey Hussle teamed up with Kendrick Lamar on "Dedication," which appears on Nipsey's debut studio LP, "Victory Lap," featuring Diddy, YG and others. Tinashe and Future joined forces on "Faded Love." Pop band PRETTYMUCH released new song "10,000 Hours." And DJs Diplo, David Guetta and Afrojack each released new songs.
