The actor, who met Daniels on the set of his movies "Knocked Up" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," didn't think "anyone would care" about Trump's affair.
The actor told Ellen DeGeneres on Monday that the porn star had mentioned her alleged fling with Donald Trump a decade ago when he met her on set of a movie, he just didn't think it was or would be a big deal.
"I’ll be honest, she may have mentioned some of this stuff around 10 years ago," Rogen said. "At the time when you ask a porn star who they’ve been sleeping with and the answer is Donald Trump it was like the least surprising thing that she could have said."
"Then as [Trump's] campaign rolled out it became clear that no one cared about anything he did," Rogen continued. "And so it didn’t really occur to me even that it would come out or anyone would care about it, but then when I saw it I was like, 'Oh yeah, Stormy told us all about that.'"
The conversation began when Ellen brought up the fact that Daniels appeared in a couple of Rogen's films, "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up."
Rogen explained that she appeared in a couple strip club scenes, because fun fact, it's easier to hire porn stars to play strippers, rather than to have actors do it. "For Stormy that was the easiest thing she did all week," he joked.
Ellen then asked the actor if he's been in touch with Daniels, to which he replied with, "I haven’t seen Stormy in years, but she’s clearly done well with herself."
And she's kept her story consistent.
