Vince Vaughn Arrested for DUI

Vince Vaughn was arrested for a DUI in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The "Wedding Crashers" star was busted by police at a sobriety checkpoint in Manhattan Beach, a coastal community just outside of Los Angeles.

Vaughn, 48, was arrested around 1am. He was booked for obstructing an officer and public intoxication, according to TMZ. He was accompanied by a passenger, who was also arrested.

The star and his friend were both released on bail Sunday morning.

This was Vaughn's first DUI offense.

While he made his name as a comedic actor in films such as "Dodgeball" and "Old School" he has more recently shifted into more serious roles such as a sergeant in Oscar-winning WWII drama "Hacksaw Ridge."

Vaughn's reps made no immediate comment when contacted by TooFab.
