While out promoting her denim line on Thursday, Khloe Kardashian ended up talking about a lot more than just jeans.
In a pair of new interviews that dropped today, she responded to the flack both she and sister Kim Kardashian caught this week -- from Kim's war with model Tyson Beckford to a series of Instagram Stories that many thought glamorized eating disorders and other unhealthy habits.
Earlier this week, Kim responded to Tyson Beckford's body-shaming comment with a reply many perceived to be homophobic. When Beckford said he "didn't care for" Kim's "not real" body, Kim replied, "Sis, we all know why you don't care for it."
"I was with her when that was going on," Khloe told Extra on Tuesday. "What I hate is that people are saying that she is homophobic for that, but no one is saying that we shouldn't also body shame womean."
"I don't know if people are saying that about him, but I just know people are attacking Kim about being homophobic," she added. "She is anything but. That's ridiculous."
Khloe also said she was "asked not to jump in," adding that she feels she "would have made it worse."
Over the weekend, Kim filmed Khloe and Kendall Jenner praising her slim figure, and even though Kim kept saying things like, "You guys, I'm not that skinny -- I'm down to 119 pounds," she also thanked them profusely for the "compliments" -- which included Khloe's reference to Kim's "anorexic" waist. The comments triggered a few Hollywood stars, as fans accused them of glamorizing eating disorders.
"She looks great, and I'm praising her for looking good," Khloe told E! in an interview that will air in full Wednesday night. "She always looked good. I think people are taking those comments so far. It's also like, we're teasing each other. People just talk anything and just run with it."
Khloe also came under attack for attending the first annual "If Only" Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament this week, while leaving baby True Thompson at home.
"I was at a charity event last weekend, and I'm literally trying to raise money for cancer research," she told E! "And I'm getting annihilated for being somewhere on a Sunday when I'm like, 'She's with her dad, you a--hole.'"
Khloe's full interview airs Thursday at 7 p.m. ET/PT on "E! News."
