Brad Pitt's attorneys have fired back at Angelina Jolie and her legal team.
In new legal documents obtained by TooFab, Pitt's lawyers claim the star has paid over $9 million to Jolie to help with their six children since their split back in September 2016.
The filing from Pitt's team came after lawyers for Jolie claimed on Tuesday her estranged movie star husband had not paid "any meaningful child support."
However, attorneys for the "Inglourious Basterds" star have countered, claiming he loaned the actress $8 million to purchase a home and gave her $1.3 million for bills related to Jolie and their kids.
Pitt's team also asserted in the legal documents that Jolie's request for case management, citing unpaid child support, is a "thinly veiled effort to manipulate media coverage."

Angelina Jolie's Rep Speaks Out Against 'Inaccurate and Unfair Picture' of Custody Battle with Brad Pitt
View StoryMeanwhile, the actress' lawyer, Samantha Bley DeJean, filed a two page brief in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday (obtained by TMZ), stating: "[Pitt] has a duty to pay child support. As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation."
Since the former couple have yet to officially divorce, any financial agreement was an "informal arrangement" according to DeJean.
"Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO [a request for a court order] for the establishment of a retroactive child support order," the filing read.
However, an insider familiar with the situation told TooFab on Tuesday, "Brad always fulfills his commitments."
Reps for both Pitt and Jolie have been contacted by TooFab.
