It was newcomer versus newcomer on Monday's "Real Housewives of Orange County."
Gina Kirschenheiter found herself at odds with Emily Simpson after the latter's poker night last week because Gina got admittedly drunk and louder (she's always loud), which didn't sit well with Emily's husband, Shane, who basically kicked her out for being drunk.
Why Tamra Judge Didn't Tell Husband About Naked 'RHOC' Debauchery in Mexico and How He Found Out
View StoryThe other ladies had already left by the time Shane yelled at Gina to get out of his house. He screamed at her from the top of the stairs, claiming she was dropping F-bombs while his children were trying to sleep.
Emily told the story to some of the ladies, saying Gina had reached out and asked her if she could apologize to Shane. Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador were not fans of the story, saying it made Shane seem controlling. Later on, Shannon compared Shane's behavior to that of her cheating ex-husband, David, and according to the preview for next week, that comes back to haunt her.
How Sacha Baron Cohen Pranked Former 'RHOC' Star Gretchen Rossi and Her 'Slut' Husband on 'Who Is America?'
View StoryAnyway, back to this week. Apparently, Emily made up that Gina said she wanted to apologize because the latter had a very different version of events when she spoke to Tamra about the situation. She was stunned when Tamra told her about the whole apology thing and said she would be addressing Emily about it directly. Gina said she was "willing to let it go so that she wouldn't be embarrassed by her husband's behavior."
Looks like everyone is on a different page.
When Gina confronted Emily, the story changed up a bit again. Gina said she felt Shane could have "handled that situation a lot more gracefully." She also said she felt he owed her an apology. Emily sort of stayed PC about the whole situation, telling Gina she wanted to put it behind them.
'RHOC' Juice: Kelly Calls Vicki a 'Constant Letdown' and Says She Feels 'Stupid' for Divorcing Michael
View StoryEmily later told Bravo cams Shane was "never going to apologize. He does not think under any circumstance that what he did was wrong."
Well, Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd do! They spoke about the situation and were completely taken aback that Emily stood behind her husband's behavior.
Next week, Emily and Gina duke it out again, and it does not appear to go over so smoothly.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
