Alec Baldwin Shares Marriage Advice for Niece Hailey Baldwin and 'Crazy Superstar' Justin Bieber

"People who get married young -- and they are very young -- I want them to just spend time with each other," the star told Canadian entertainmenttalk show etalk Sunday at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Obviously, him in particular has this crazy superstar career."

"I'm quite a bit older than both of them, but I got married recently, a few years ago," he continued. "And my wife [Hilaria Baldwin] and I had four kids in four-and-a-half years. We have a lot of little kids." Baldwin, 60, and Hilaria, 34, married in 2012.

The "Saturday Night Live" star added his advice on how the young couple can have a "successful" marriage.

"The thing is, all the work I do now is based on my family," Baldwin said. "There's movies I got offered where they say, 'Come leave town for five weeks. And no, we can't travel your family with you. We don't have that in the budget.' And I pass because I don't want to be away from my family. And I hope they realize that. If you want to have a successful marriage, you have to be together. You gotta stay together."

Hailey, 21, and Bieber, 24, dated from 2015 to 2016 and rekindled their romance only a few weeks before Bieber popped the question in July, when the couple were vacationing in the Bahamas.

Baldwin didn't share any details on his niece's pending nuptials.

"I don't know any details," he said. "I know nothing!"

At the time, Bieber confirmed the couple's engagement on Instagram and gushed about his new bride-to-be.

"Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you," he wrote in the caption. "So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first!"

"You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else," he continued. "You make me so much better and we compliment [each other] so well!! Can't wait for the best season of life yet! It's funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!"
