The sketch comedy quartet first performed "I Wish It Were Christmas Today" during the "Saturday Night Live" holiday episode back in 2000.
It gets replayed every year when "Saturday Night Live" trots out their Christmas special, but Jimmy Fallon added a little girl power into this classic holiday skit with Ariana Grande.
There's something so sweetly innocent about Horatio Sanz, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan standing on the stage, dancing awkwardly and singing, "I Wish It Was Christmas Today. Tracy just jogs in place and Chris holds the keyboard, where Jimmy controls the percussion, while Horatio brings it home on vocals and guitar.
Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus Team Up to Expertly Drag Kanye West and Drake in Time for New Music Friday
View StoryIf you've seen the original sketch, we can confidently say that Ariana's presence only enhances the original intent of the piece, adding a feminine energy that it lacked. In a way, it could be argued that she turned this already-classic Christmas track into an all-inclusive song that embraces everyone this holiday season.
Also remarkable is just how incredible all four guys looked. The original sketch aired during the holiday season in the year 2000. Almost two decades later, the gentlemen are all looking pretty sharp, and almost totally unchanged.
Grande, on the other hand, looks almost nothing at all like she did during the 2000 holiday season. In her defense, though, she was eight years old. Ironically, she is now almost the exact same age that Jimmy was when he first accompanied Horatio and the boys in bringing that musical masterpiece to life.

As for Ariana, she brought moves of her own and we couldn't keep our eyes of her glassy gaze.
