"Wear f--king GLOVES. This isn't a date," the comedian says.
Sarah Silverman spoke out after an uncomfortable mammogram appointment, vowing never to see that doctor again.
The comedian opened up about the alleged incident Wednesday on Instagram, explaining that she has to get an ultrasound after every mammogram because she has "dense breasts," which can make cancer screenings more difficult. Silverman claims that when her radiologist -- "the same man I had last year" -- went to prep her, he used his bare hands to apply the ultrasound gel.

"Finally, I said, 'Hey, can we either talk about this when I'm dressed or WHILE you're doing the ultrasound? I'm not comfortable with my breasts out just shooting the shit with you,'" she continued, but the discomfort didn't stop there.
"So he smears the gel on with his hands and NO GLOVES on, and when he glides the ultrasound wand thing over my breasts, he drags his fingers on them, and it f--king bothers me," she added.
This wasn't the first time the comedian had reprimanded him.

Then he added, 'I do that for balance.' I said, 'Well, I believe in you, and I think you can do [it] without your fingers on me.'"
While Silverman doesn't believe her radiologist was "getting off" on the situation, she does believe anyone in his position should be aware that any of the aforementioned procedures are "vulnerable for women."
"Wear f--king GLOVES. This isn't a date," she said, calling the doctor "arrogant" for not listening to what she had to say and correcting the issue. She called the ordeal "obnoxious" and said his behavior was "probably a subconscious power thing."

"Look, I'm a grown woman, and I'm fine -- but this guy does this with everyone," she concluded. "I know that, personally, it took many years into adulthood before I spoke up for myself. It's uncomfortable and too easy to think it's all in your head. And arrogant f--ks like this doctor take advantage of women's socialized instinct to not speak up. All this to say speak up. Trust that thing in your gut that tells you this shit ain't right."
