Katy Perry Drops Love Song Same Day as Orlando Bloom's Proposal

Orlando Bloom proposed to Katy Perry, and that very same day, the pop star dropped a track all about love. And we can't help but think Mr. Bloom served as at least some of Mrs. Future Bloom's inspiration.

Joined by Zedd on "365," Katy sings, "Waking up next to you in the middle of the week / Never needed anyone to send me off to sleep / And I know I said go slow, but I can't hold back no more / Got a premonition this ain't gonna be a fling / You make a weekend feel like a year, baby you got me changing / 24/7, I want you here, I hope you feel the same thing."

The pop star, 34, and actor, 42, announced their happy news on Instagram on Valentine's Day with a close-up of Katy's unique, flower-shaped pink diamond ring. "Full bloom," she captioned the photo, while the groom-to-be captioned his, "Lifetimes."

Katy's mom also posted (and later deleted) a few intimate pictures of the couple's proposal party to her Facebook page, captioning them, "Look who got engaged on Valentine's Day!" The couple had been swoon all day long.

Before popping the question, Orlando shared a sweet message about love on Instagram, which read, "A shallow person will have only shallow relationships. Real love is not one person clinging to another, it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality ... Love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction."

Earlier in the day, Katy shared a precious shot of her man taking a nap beside their two dogs. "Will you be my teenage dream?" she wrote alongside the photo. We see what you did there.
