The wrestler and reality star reacts to recent photos of her ex out on a date.
Nikki Bella's split from John Cena may have been rough, but she's "happy" to see him possibly moving on with someone new.
The wrestler and reality star addressed photos of her ex seemingly on a date with a "mystery woman" from March on her "Bellas Podcast" on Wednesday.
Long story short, the photos didn't make her "want to shit my pants." Actually, let's let her explain.
"This is actually kind of hard to talk about," she said at the top of her show. "As everybody already knows, but you all have seen John's paparazzi pics. He was spotted with a new mystery woman and everyone has been blowing up my phone, been trying to get to my PR for me to get my reaction. Everyone wants to know what I've been thinking."
Nikki Bella Opens Up About 'Embarrassing' and 'Awkward' Dates with Peter Kraus and 'DWTS' Pro
View Story"When I saw the headline -- because it was texted to me by a few people -- my stomach went into knots," she explained.
"But then when I opened it up and when I saw the photo, it was weird," Bella continued. "Sometimes when you get a text, or you see a photo, or you see your significant other flirt with someone, you know how you get those knots in your stomach and it hurts? Like you either want to poop your pants immediately … or you just have the craziest tummy ache? Neither of that happened to me when I saw the photo."
"I didn't want to shit my pants," she reiterated. "When I saw the big smile on his face with the paparazzi photos, I think that's why I didn't want to shit my pants. I felt happy for him. Those are my thoughts. I am very happy for him. As long as John is happy, I'm happy."
Nikki also criticized the media for wanting her "to be depressed and upset about these photos," and told people to stop comparing her to Cena's maybe-new girlfriend. "Let's just let people be happy," she said. "I knew he was dating people, he and I have talked about it. Maybe that's why it didn't hurt me."
She did warn, however, that if this woman "breaks his heart" she won't hesitate to "rack-attack her in a heartbeat."
Nikki Bella Breaks Down After Moving Out of John Cena's Florida Home
View StoryCalling Cena an "amazing man," Bella went on to talk about how her reality show, "Total Bellas," was "kinda unfair" to her ex.
"When you film the reality shows, you guys only get to see so much," Nikki explained. "You saw a very small amount on our reality show about our breakup. Of course, it was pro me because it was going through my eyes. But it made me sad for John and I felt bad for John, I felt like I embarrassed him, I felt like a disappointed him and I have to live with a lot of that stuff."
Nikki said she's been going to therapy and added there are "a lot of things" about their breakup that the two will "always keep private."
She added that Cena, like her sister Brie, is one of the people "that makes me a better person."
