Alyssa Milano was among the many, many people making fun of Donald Trump on Friday morning after he misspelled the word "chief" in a tweet.
"'President Donald J. Trump is the greatest hostage negotiator that I know of in the history of the United States. 20 hostages, many in impossible circumstances, have been released in last two years. No money was paid.' Cheif Hostage Negotiator, USA!" the President tweeted, sharing a quote allegedly from Robert C. O'Brien, Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
The error was immediately and mercilessly mocked. Within two hours of posting, "Cheif" was already a top-trending word on Twitter, featuring in almost 40k tweets.

"When I type 'cheif' my device either autocorrects the spelling error or aggressively underlines it with red. I mean, you have to try really, really, really hard to misspell words in this day and age. And yet..."
It is very far from the first time the POTUS has fumbled his spelling on his personal Twitter account; well known examples include "Hamberder", "Unpresidented", "Smocking" and perhaps most infamous of all, "Covfefe".
Of course, Alyssa wasn't the only one who took aim at POTUS for the mistake -- see more of the reactions below:
