"I ignored things I shouldn't have ignored," says Leah of her ex.
Earlier this month, Leah Messer confirmed she and boyfriend Jason Jordan had split -- but on Monday night, "Teen Mom 2" viewers finally saw it play out on TV.
The new hour kicked off with Leah breaking the news to her producer, who was shocked when she claimed Jason wasn't who he portrayed himself to be in front of the show's cameras.

View Story"We don't see behind the scenes. We've had a lot of disagreements lately, parenting. He gets openly angry, he doesn't hit or anything like that. He gets upset and takes it out on everyone," explained Messer.
"I felt like there was always an expectation I could never meet, what I did wasn't ever enough," she continued. "I could get up, cook breakfast, do this, do that, have all the kids ready, watch his kid, and I felt like it wasn't enough and he felt the same way and no one wanted to make the move to say this isn't working out."
Leah said she and Jason got into a disagreement over her dog having to stay in his cold garage, before she told Jason their relationship was "exhausting" and he kicked her and her dog out of the house.

Later in the episode, Leah's sister stopped by to say that Jason had called her, asking what he could do to get her back. Messer said he also came by her house with a key to his place, something she didn't have before.
"Why do that when things aren't great? That's a bad sign, that's toxic," she reiterated. "I ignored things I shouldn't have ignored. A lot of people are different behind closed doors than they are in public. He was different around everyone."

View StoryShe eventually relayed the news to her daughters -- 9-year-old twins Aliannah and Aleeah and 6-year-old Adalynn -- who didn't exactly seemed disappointed.
"Finally! I told you I don't like him," siad Aleeah. Added Adalynn: "He was not handsome. He was not cute. He didn't look like a prince. He looked stupid and looked dumb."
