Most people don't get excited about their funerals.
But Luke Perry was, his daughter has revealed, after he discovered the mushroom burial suit.
Sophie Perry confirmed in a touching Instagram post on Friday that one of her dad's final wishes was to be interred in an Infinity Burial Suit — and it was granted.

View Story"In December I went to San Francisco with two of my best friends. One of them, had never never been to California, so we went to show him the Redwoods. I took this picture while we were there, because i thought, 'damn, those mushrooms are beautiful'," she explained.
"Now, mushrooms hold an entirely new meaning for me. Any explanation i give will not do justice to the genius that is the mushroom burial suit, but it is essentially an eco friendly burial option via mushrooms."

Created by Jae Rhim Lee, her company Coeio sells the suits for $1,500 — far less than a conventional funeral.

The biodegradable shroud has a built in biomix, made up of of mushrooms and other microorganisms that together do three things; aid in decomposition, work to neutralize toxins found in the body and transfer nutrients to plant life.
They also come in pet forms, ranging from $75 for a hamster or fish sized one, right up to $250 for a large dog.
The 90210 star passed away on March 4, having suffered a massive stroke five days earlier. He was just 52.
He is survived by 18-year-old Sophie, and her 21-year-old brother Jack.
