Kim Kardashian Was Only Able to 'Half Sit,' Couldn't Pee for Hours in Waist-Snatching Met Gala Dress

Kim Kardashian may have stunned at the Met Gala but her waist-cinching mini dress was so tight, she couldn't fully sit down.

On Tuesday, Vogue shared a behind-the-scenes video of the reality star getting her last fitting for the silicone Thierry Mugler gown and how it all came together for fashion's biggest night.

The secret to Kim's extra-tiny waist was revealed in the clip as it took three assistants to strap the KKW Beauty founder into the custom-made, nude-colored corset, which eventually went under the embellished mini dress. Kim then addressed Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour while she struggled to sit in a chair.

"Okay, so Anna, if I don't sit down for dinner, now you know why," Kim told the camera. "I'll be walking around mingling, talking, but I cannot hardly sit. I can only like, half sit."

The clip then flashed to Kim getting ready only a few short hours before the A-list event. While getting her makeup done, Kim told her team she's not only worried about sitting but going to the bathroom. "I won't be able to pee for about four hours, so we're coming up with a plan about what we do in case of an emergency," she said.

Kim's inability to sit in the dress proved to be an issue and as a result, Kim had to ride in a large van to the event so she could stand up.
