Aaron Carter Spends Day Defending Bombshell Allegations He Was Raped by Late Sister, Abused by Nick Carter

Family sources have reportedly denied the allegations, and are seeking to help the pop singer -- who they believe may be in a state of mental psychosis -- by legally forcing him into treatment.

Aaron Carter spent the day on Thursday responding to fans and defending his allegations that his late sister Leslie Carter sexually abused him as a child over a span of three years, and that brother Nick Carter abused him as well.

The bombshell allegations came as part of a series of Thursday morning tweets by the pop singer, who has been making headlines of late for revelations of mental health issues and publicly feuding with Nick and his wife Lauren Kitt, who recently took out a temporary restraining order against Aaron.

As explanation for the restraining order, Nick tweeted, "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family." He also claims Aaron hears "voices in his head."

Aaron denied those claims, with a rep for the singer telling TMZ, "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family."

As part of the restraining order, Nick claims Aaron told their sister Angel, "I have thoughts of killing babies," and that he has also considered killing Nick's pregnant wife, Lauren Kitt." The order further claims that Aaron told Angel, "I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar 2 years ago."

Earlier this month, Aaron was on an episode of "The Doctors" where he said, "The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety; I'm manic depressive." He also revealed a baggie of prescription medicaitons, rattling off those names.

And yet, on Thursday as part of his tweetstorm, he backed away from two of those diagnoses, tweeting:

Now, Aaron says that he went through therapy and treatments, including taking prescription medications, as a rape survivor. He alleges that his sister Leslie raped him from the ages of 10 to 13, saying that it was as a result of her coming off of the lithium prescribed to her for bipolar.

"She never liked the way [lithium] made her feel and when she was off of it she did things that she never meant to do," he wrote. "I truly believe that." Leslie Carter died in January 2012 at the age of 25 from a suspected prescription medication overdose.

Aaron further accused two backup dancers of sexually abusing him two years prior to his sister's alleged abuse, and then tacked on the statement, "And my brother abused me my whole life." He did not specify what kind of abuse this was; physical, psychological or sexual (or some combination).

However, Aaron also continued to maintain his claims that Nick has assaulted others throughout his career, referencing multiple times on Thursday three different women in three different states who have filed suits against the Backstreet Boys singer, including Melissa Schuman, who first came forward with allegations of rape against Nick as part of the #MeToo movement in 2017. Her case was dismissed because the statute of limitations had expired on her allegations.

Aaron also cryptically suggested that Nick may have assaulted or abused in some way someone from their family.

Sources for the Carter family have denied Aaron's allegations against Nick and Leslie to TMZ and it is their hope that Nick's restraining order is the first step toward getting a judge to force Aaron into a treatment facility, as they believe he is in a state of mental psychosis and may prove a danger to himself or others.

Unfortunately, TMZ pointed out that it's not that simple as "Aaron is an adult and the decision to get help is vested in him and him alone. If he doesn't want help, there's almost nothing the family can do." Representatives for Nick Carter have not responded to TooFab's request for comment.

Meanwhile, Aaron continues his almost relentless assault on Twitter, retweeting comments both in support of and against him, providing his own commentary along the way. He's even anticipating an appearance on Wendy Williams' "Hot Topics" segment, so he at-tweeted the host to ask her to include the three women who'd filed police reports against Nick when she talks about him.
