"Seriously call me @diplo this isn't funny," Nick wrote at one point.
UPDATE on 9/27/19: The music video for Diplo and the Jonas Brothers' collaboration, "Lonely," is here -- showing the former apologizing to Joe Jonas for live streaming his Las Vegas wedding to Sophie Turner. In the clip, Joe and his brothers ignore all of Diplo's phone calls, text messages and Edible Arrangements. Just as they're about to reconcile via FaceTime, however, something goes wrong. Fans need not send an S.O.S. -- there is no beef going on between the Jonas Brothers and Diplo.
People were wondering what was going on between the band and the DJ after Diplo seemingly hacked the Jonas Brothers Instagram account and went on a wild trolling spree. However, after a day of Diplo sharing funny posts and hilarious videos to the JoBros' feed and unfollowing everyone except himself, the truth appears to have finally come out: Nick, Joe and Kevin are collaborating with Diplo.
On Thursday morning, the foursome announced they are teaming up on a new song, which will be released Friday at midnight. The Jonas Brothers and Diplo both shared a teaser of the collaboration, along with the caption: "lonely. 12am et."

It all began on Wednesday when Diplo shared a black-and-white photo of himself wearing nothing but Calvin Klein briefs.
"@calvinklein ur welcome for the free promo. follow @diplo," he captioned the pic. According to People, the record producer also announced he was hacking the band's account. "The Jonas brothers are dorks and I hacked their Instagram," he wrote in a since-deleted post, adding the hashtag "dorkusbrothers."
Diplo seemingly proceeded to take over the entire account and threw shade at Nick, Joe and Kevin with multiple posts and clips. The DJ's trolling spree included everything from a photo of Hanson -- who Diplo said were the "original" Jonas Brothers -- to a funny video where the "Thunderclouds" artist poked fun at the band's breakup in 2013.
One of the photos Diplo shared included a shirtless pic of him holding his multiple Grammys. Although the Jonas Brothers have been nominated once, they have yet to win the coveted award.

"photoshoot with kevin, nick, and joe. follow @diplo," Diplo captioned the pic.
At that point, it seemed the JoBros had had enough of Diplo's antics and chimed in.
"Bro you changed the password," Joe wrote and Nick commented, "Seriously call me @diplo this isn't funny." Kevin added, "WTF @ diplo. It was funny for like one post but we've got a show tonight and need the account back..."
So how exactly did Diplo get ahold of their Instagram password in the first place? According to Diplo, it was all Joe's fault.
"The bros trying to figure out who gave me the password," Diplo wrote alongside a funny meme from "The Office," adding "it was @joejonas."
However, the pieces were apparently all put together on Thursday morning when Diplo and the Jonas Brothers both shared a teaser for their new collaboration, "Lonely," which looks like it will be a part of Diplo's country project, to be released under his birth name Thomas Wesley Pentz, Jr.
