See which of Braunwyn's costars called the reveal "kinda sad," before casting doubt on the spicy story.
Kelly Dodd's rumored sex train isn't the only NSFW topic to make headlines this season on "Real Housewives of Orange County," after costar Braunwyn Windham-Burke revealed she and her husband Sean partake in the occasional threesome.
Windham-Burke made the confession on last week's episode of the Bravo series, but didn't reveal too many details about how the first one went down. Thankfully, Bravo pressed her on the subject even more for their online after-show, where her loose lips let some more info.

View Story"It started with his 35th birthday. Oh no, I will never tell those stories. Everyone's been sworn to secrecy," she said ... before telling those stories.
Braunwyn revealed she and Sean knew the other woman and are still friends with her. When asked if it was planned or spontaneous, she said, "it was kind of assumed."
"Things had been happening. We were at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego for his 35th birthday. We rented out every bottom room. We had friends from everywhere and like everyone lost their damn minds," she said, going into detail. "I've been with him a long time, everything we've done, we've done together. So it was sort of like, that would be fun."
"I kinda was like, this is your birthday present. It started as a joke and then became every monumental birthday, this will be your gift," she continued. "That's not a hard and fast rule. But Sean is crazy and you've met Sean, he doesn't seem crazy at all. He's super nice and buttoned up, but he's super wild too."
She explained that their threesomes are always with another woman, never another man. Braunwyn also cautioned against ever having one with a friend, "that's a hard and fast rule."

View StoryBravo also pressed Windham-Burke's costars on her reveal in separate interviews -- and many of them threw doubt or downright shade at Braunwyn for opening up about her sex life.
"I think they're full of shit," said Kelly Dodd. "I think they do that for shock value. I don't think they're like that because they have a really nice family home environment, I don't think they do that."
Added Gina Kirschenheiter, "I think it's kinda sad actually. I think personally, I've thought about it a little bit. I think her husband may have cheated on her."
"So she just embraces the other girl?" asked Tamra Judge. "I don't think it's that," Gina replied. "I think she is now feeling like okay now I need to satisfy my husband ... if I let that into my world and my bedroom, it keeps everybody satisfied."
"I think that's more damage control," she added, "and her not being confident in herself and her needing attention."
"Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
