Minnie Mouse was gracious enough to fill in for Vanna by revealing the letters on the game board.

Vanna White took a spin at hosting "Wheel of Fortune."

On Monday's episode of the popular game show, the former model traded in her 37 years of turning over consonants and vowels on the light-up puzzle board to helm the show for three weeks as Pat Sajak recovers from an emergency surgery for a blocked intestine.

"Tonight"s my first night of hosting Wheel!" the South Carolina native, 62, tweeted before the episode aired. "I'm excited and nervous! Stay tuned!"

Vanna covered the duties nicely, as she even poked fun at herself at one point for mixing up different prize arrows. "Oh no! I'm looking at the wrong arrow," she told the audience laughing, "How do you do this show?"

Minnie Mouse was gracious enough to take time off from her busy schedule to fill in for Vanna, as she handled revealing the letters on the board like a champ.

Pat left the show in November as producers announced he went through a "successful emergency surgery" and was "resting comfortably." While Vanna and Sajak swapped roles once in 1996 while he had laryngitis, this is the first time she took over an entire episode solo.

He tweeted three days, "I'm so grateful for all the good wishes during my recent illness. Happy to say that the worst has passed, and I'll be out of the hospital in a day of two, then back to work (unless @TheVannaWhite has completely taken over!)."

Since 1982, Pat has hosted the show -- which is the longest running syndicated game show in the U.S., having filmed its 7,000th episode last May.

Created by the late Merv Griffin, "Wheel of Fortune" premiered in 1975 with Chuck Woolery as the host.
