Miley Cryus did a gorgeous photo shoot for Marie Claire -- where she opens up about her infamous salvia incident for the first time.
"I'm not perfect ... I made a mistake ... I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans ..." Cyrus says of her scandalous smoking video in the magazine's March issue.
When pressed by the interviewer as to why it was such a big deal for her, while other teens her age do a lot worse, she adds "But they're not Miley Cyrus. They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."
Cyrus also comes clean about that photo of her supposedly making out with Disney star Avan Jogia, saying "If you look at the picture, I'm turned away, and he's kissing me on the cheek. It's very hilarious to me that people say, 'They're making out.' In making out, there's a tongue."

The magazine hits newsstands February 15.
