Warner Bros. is going forward with a remake of "The Bodyguard" -- and we want to know who you think should star!
The 1992 original starred Whitney Houston in what was one of the biggest studio releases ever at the time -- and raked in $411 million worldwide.
The new plot will be similar to the original, except the bodyguard will be an Iraq war veteran who falls for the star he signs on to protect after leaving the Army.
According to Deadline, "the goal is to take a young female singer with global appeal and give her the platform that 'The Bodyguard' did Houston."
